Coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching, sometimes called “executive coaching” or “personal performance coaching”, is increasingly seen as a powerful investment by businesses and professionals globally.  Coaching is a positive, one-to-one, professional relationship that facilitates goal setting, problem solving and high achievement.  It is a confidential, supportive yet challenging relationship to empower people to move to the next level of effectiveness, whether in work, leadership, business or personal/family life.  Coaching is all about where you are now, where you want to be, and how you’re going to get there.

Benefits of our coaching to your organisation

Here are some of the benefits to organisations and individuals of the coaching we provide:

  • Supporting people new in role or people new to your organisation (making them more effective, more quickly)
  • Supporting people in key roles, or those leading challenging projects (if a lot depends on their work, then they’re worth investing in)
  • Showing real commitment to supporting and empowering staff to develop and achieve
  • A focus, not just on knowledge, but on real outcomes in terms of improved effectiveness, better results, improved working relationships
  • A flexible process, customised to the individual’s learning needs and performance goals
  • Simultaneously improving work-life balance and work performance, and managing stress better
  • Coaching can be very cost effective, especially for smaller groups (a big impact without buying a big programme)
  • Equipping leaders to better support their teams and be better at the “people stuff”
  • Helping leaders and managers to clarify direction and priorities for their area of responsibility
  • Increasing self-awareness as leaders, encouraging individuals to play to their strengths and take charge of their own personal development
